dsh-bili-scroll: A DSH plugin that browses Bilibili once a day inside DeepSeek Harness
zxz-feng/dsh-bili-scroll
A DSH plugin that scrolls Bilibili for you daily: searches by keyword, judges videos by reading full subtitles, writes a Markdown report, and comments @ you on the best picks.
dsh-bili-scroll is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that takes over the daily chore of finding Bilibili videos worth watching. It searches recent uploads by the keywords you provide and judges each one by reading its subtitle text instead of a summary, so the picks reflect actual content. Worthwhile videos go into a Markdown daily report, and the best ones get a comment that @-mentions you. This repository is the author's personal fork, adding private-message sessions, quota tracking by tool, and generic same-origin checks on top of upstream, released under the MIT license.

What Does It Do?
It is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that browses Bilibili for you once a day. It searches recent videos by your keywords, reads each video's subtitle text before judging it, and writes the worthwhile ones into a Markdown report, leaving a comment that @-mentions you for the best picks. This repository is the author's personal fork of the upstream 2.0.4 release, adding private-message sessions, quota tracking by tool, and generic same-origin checks, and it is released under the MIT license.
Core Features
- Keyword search and filtering: searches recent videos using your keywords (or built-in sets when left empty) and judges each one by its subtitle text rather than a summary, skipping videos without subtitles.
- Markdown daily report: writes a report where each entry includes why it is worth watching plus a one-line take, with headings fixed to the BV id so the plugin can count how many picks were made.
- Auto-comment with @ mention: when enabled, posts one comment per round that @-mentions you, adjustable up to 20 per round in settings.
- Peak/off-peak scheduling: can run automatically during DeepSeek's discount hours to save tokens, or be triggered manually with a run-now button.
- Local transcription fallback: once enabled and its dependencies are installed, videos without subtitles are transcribed before judging, and the report states how many were skipped for missing subtitles.
- Four-tab settings page: daily, preferences, and interaction tabs manage auto-runs, persona prompt, followed keywords, auto-favorites, and report detail level.
How to Use This Plugin?
After installing it in DSH and restarting once, open Settings → Bilibili Scroll and click install main dependencies on first use; the plugin creates an isolated venv in its own home directory and installs what it needs. Then fill in keywords, persona prompt, and report detail on the preferences tab, and decide on peak/off-peak auto-runs and the daily pick limit on the daily tab. Click run-now to see results immediately; the report is written to the out directory under the plugin folder. The machine needs Python 3.10+ or uv, and if neither exists the plugin downloads its own uv copy.
How to Troubleshoot This Plugin?
- The Bilibili Scroll page never appears in settings and the log only says an entry did not activate with an import failure: this is a known issue in older versions on the desktop build, so upgrade to the fixed release per the official instructions.
- Installing dependencies hangs or the QR code never renders: usually an older version missing a parameter when creating the Python environment; upgrade and retry, or apply the README's emergency fix and reinstall main dependencies.
- The plugin cannot download uv: place a uv binary in the plugin's bin directory and it will use that copy and skip the download.
- The automatic round hangs on the desktop build: use the run-now button in settings first, which is the stable path.
- Local transcription does not take effect: turning the switch on is not enough; also click install transcription dependencies, otherwise videos without subtitles are skipped.
