dsh-skills-nexus: A Universal Skill Adapter for DeepSeek Harness
xiaxi626/dsh-skills-nexus
A universal DSH skill adapter: install once, then register any GitHub repo containing a SKILL.md as a DSH skill, no plugin code required in the skill repo.
dsh-skills-nexus is a universal skill adapter for DeepSeek Harness that solves the problem of registering pure SKILL.md content repos that the official plugin command cannot handle. After a one-time install, it lets you register any GitHub repo containing a SKILL.md as a DSH skill, with no Cordis plugin code or package.json required in the skill repo. Nexus clones the repo to a local directory and creates symlinks in the official skills root, so DSH discovers and serves them automatically. It supports multiple repo address formats, subdirectory installation, branch and tag selection, and offers maintenance commands like list, update, enable, disable, and remove for straightforward skill management.

What Does It Do?
dsh-skills-nexus is a universal DSH skill adapter plugin for DeepSeek Harness that solves the problem of registering pure SKILL.md content repositories that the official plugin command cannot handle. It lets you install once and then register any GitHub repo containing a SKILL.md as a DSH skill, without requiring Cordis plugin code or a package.json in the skill repo. Nexus clones the repo to a local directory and creates symlinks in the official skills root, so DSH discovers and serves them automatically.
Core Features
- Universal registration: accepts multiple repo forms, including github:owner/repo, full HTTPS URLs, git+https, SSH, and owner/repo shorthand.
- Smart detection: identifies plain SKILL.md repos, repos with plugin wrappers, pure plugin repos, and collection repos, and handles each appropriately.
- Subdirectory installation: use --subdir to install a specific subdirectory of a collection repo, and --name to set a custom entry name.
- Branch/tag selection: specify a branch or tag at registration (e.g., repo#dev), and updates follow the pinned reference.
- Maintenance commands: list, update, enable, disable, and remove let you inspect, refresh, activate, deactivate, or delete registered skills.
How to Use This Plugin?
After installing and restarting the profile once, the dsh-skills-nexus CLI command becomes available. To register a skill repo, run the add command with a repo address, such as add github:owner/repo; if the repo has a plugin wrapper, you'll be prompted whether to ignore it, which you can skip with --yes. Once installed, the skill appears in the DSH skills list and can be used directly. To manage skills, use list to see status, update to refresh, and disable or remove to control them.
