loopx: A Durable Control Plane for Long-Horizon Goals and Evidence in DeepSeek Harness
loopx-project/loopx
LoopX is a local-first control plane for long-horizon agents; as a DSH plugin it gives DeepSeek Harness durable goals, evidence and quota state so work keeps moving across sessions.
loopx is a control plane for long-horizon agents and personal agent teams that folds objective, gates, todos, scope, evidence and quota into one compact durable state. It addresses the gap between a single session that can wrap up a task and long-running work that keeps drifting: objectives change, owner decisions appear, evidence goes stale, agents hand work to peers, and a scheduler can keep spending after no useful transition remains. Once enabled, you get a local-first workspace showing what needs you, what is running and what is watched, and you can continue across Codex, Claude Code, DeepSeek Harness and other registered sessions without losing state. Protected changes are reviewed through typed preview, explicit confirmation and receipts, with LoopX rather than the browser remaining authoritative.

What Does It Do?
LoopX is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that acts as an open, local-first control plane for long-horizon agents and personal agent teams. It solves the problem that a single session can finish a task but long-running work drifts: objectives change, owner decisions appear, evidence goes stale, agents hand work to peers, and schedulers keep spending after no useful transition remains. Maintained by loopx-project under Apache-2.0 and written in Python, it was last updated in 2026-10.
Core Features
- Durable state kernel: keeps objective, gates, todos, scope, evidence and quota in one compact layer that survives days, restarts and harness switches.
- Personal Agent Workspace: shows what needs you, what is running, what is watched, and what is scheduled or stopped, separating machine defaults from Goal overrides.
- Cross-runtime continuation: carries Goal state and evidence across Codex, Claude Code, DeepSeek Harness and other registered Agent sessions.
- Protected change review: reviews changes through typed preview, explicit confirmation and receipts, with LoopX state rather than the browser remaining authoritative.
- Reproducible workspace scenarios: ships community-event, home-energy and neighborhood-website demos, each with four work roles, 18 tasks, two decisions and two watches.
How to Use This Plugin?
After enabling it in DSH, launch the supported browser/PWA workspace with loopx dashboard; native desktop previews reuse the same loopback services and Goal state. Start with the five-minute tour, then run the reproducible workspace scenarios from a source checkout to learn the flow. To adjust behavior, configure Goal capabilities in the settings and preview changes before applying them.
How to Troubleshoot This Plugin?
On Apple Silicon macOS the desktop app supports signed updates plus repair and recovery; it is ad-hoc signed and not notarized, so follow the official repair and recovery steps when updates or launches fail. Windows preview installers currently use manual updates and require a separately installed CLI, so confirm the command-line side is ready before reporting missing features.
This page is an independent rewrite of the plugin's official README — for authoritative documentation and the latest changes, refer to the source: loopx-project/loopx. The plugin is third-party code that runs on your machine once installed; inclusion does not imply endorsement — please review the source before installing.
