lire1131/dsh-undo-savepoint
DSH crash-rescue plugin: one-click undo/rollback for config & plugin-code changes, secret-safe snapshots, one-click SAFE MODE, plus offline CLI/GUI/WebUI that work even when DSH won't boot.
dsh-undo-savepoint is an undo and crash rescue plugin for DeepSeek Harness, providing automatic snapshots and one-click rollback for configuration, plugin code, and file changes. It solves problems like DSH crashes or misoperations that corrupt config, break plugin code, or damage session files, letting you undo, restore, or roll back to any version directly inside the harness, even when DSH won't boot, via offline WebUI / GUI / CLI. Core capabilities include config and plugin code snapshots, message-level undo, secret masking, one-click safe mode, crash attribution, session file scanning and repair, snapshot timeline, and cross-machine migration. Maintained by lire1131 under the MIT license, it supports Windows, macOS, and Linux.

What Does It Do?
dsh-undo-savepoint is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that provides an undo/rollback system for configuration, plugin code, and file changes. It solves the problem of DSH crashes or misoperations that corrupt configuration, break plugin code, or damage session files, letting you undo, restore, or roll back to any version directly inside the harness, even when DSH won't boot, via offline WebUI / GUI / CLI. Core capabilities include config and plugin code snapshots, message-level undo, secret masking, one-click safe mode, crash attribution, session file scanning and repair, snapshot timeline, and cross-machine migration. Maintained by lire1131 under the MIT license, it supports Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Core Features
- One-click rollback for config and plugin code: snapshots cover config and user plugin code trees, supporting undo / redo / rollback to any version via WebUI, chat, or offline CLI.
- Message-level undo: records workspace file changes per AI message (or 60s batches), letting you revert what a specific message changed with one command, without relying on git or touching session storage.
- Secret masking and local vault:
.env/ credentials are automatically masked in snapshots (structure preserved), zero leakage on ZIP export, real values stored in a local vault for full restoration on the same machine. - One-click safe mode: when DSH completely fails to start, disables all plugins except the undo system to guarantee boot, with automatic snapshots and config backup.
- Crash attribution: on abnormal exit, shows the last-good snapshot ID with a one-click rollback button, categorizing crash causes by log signature (
session-corrupt/bundle-check/patch-tree). - Session file scanning and repair:
undo_scanscans/sessions/**/session.jsonl.zstd, fixing single-frame layout violations and synthetic-closer seq overlaps; undecodable files are quarantined only.
How to Use This Plugin?
After enabling it in DSH, daily operations (installing plugins, changing skins, modifying settings) automatically create snapshots, and you can also save manually. To roll back, type undo or restore -Id <snapshot-id> in chat, or use the WebUI snapshot panel or offline CLI. If DSH won't boot at all, use the desktop "DSH Undo Manager" to enter safe mode, or run dsh-undo.ps1 scan --fix offline to repair session files. For cross-machine migration, pre-check missing plugins before restoring, then export/import ZIP snapshots. All parameters (auto-save, retention count, sensitive mode, plugin whitelist, scheduled snapshots) are adjustable in the DSH settings "Snapshot" section.
