Inside the note box, Enter sends, Shift+Enter adds a line break, and Esc cancels; the button only appears after you release the drag. Only the right sidebar can trigger it, Word/PPT/PDF selections locate by page only, and files whose text cannot be read will say so instead of pretending to succeed.
How to Troubleshoot This Plugin?
The plugin relies on several internal DSH DOM anchors; after a DSH upgrade, if those anchors change, a built-in self-check logs a single console warning instead of failing silently, and you can repair it following the official instructions.
