What Does It Do?
Music Dock is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that embeds a music player bar at the bottom of the left sidebar. It removes the need to switch to a browser to find and play music while working, letting you play tracks, switch songs, and follow lyrics right inside the harness. After login it syncs all your saved and created playlists from NetEase Cloud Music and QQ Music, supports QR-code or Cookie sign-in, and shows artist, title, and scrolling lyrics.
Core Features
- Sidebar-embedded player: the dock sits at the bottom of the left sidebar above other plugin buttons and matches the sidebar width; when the sidebar collapses to a 56px rail it degrades to a single button in the bottom bar.
- Dual-platform playlist sync: NetEase syncs created and favorited playlists, while QQ Music also syncs "My Favorites"; playlists load right after login and are restored and refreshed in the background after a restart.
- Scrolling lyrics with offset: the compact view shows cover, title, and the current lyric line, the full panel shows line-by-line lyrics, and a per-track −0.5s / +0.5s offset fixes lyrics that run ahead or behind.
- Full playback controls: previous, play/pause, next, play modes (sequential / shuffle / repeat one), plus progress and volume control.
- Track type indicator: the dot before the title is red for VIP or paid tracks, blue for regular tracks, and gray when nothing is selected; unplayable VIP tracks show a readable reason and are skipped in sequential playback.
- Local account persistence: credentials stay in the local profile directory, page scripts cannot read the Cookie, and all platform requests are proxied same-origin by the Host side.
How to Use This Plugin?
After enabling and reloading the plugin in DSH, the player bar appears at the bottom of the left sidebar; it requires DSH 0.2.x with a Web profile that provides the webServer service, and runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Click the cover or lyrics to expand the full panel, then click the down arrow or anywhere outside to collapse it; hovering fades the lyrics out and swaps in the control buttons. Sign-in lives under Settings → Music Dock: NetEase supports QR login or a Cookie containing MUSIC_U, while QQ Music uses the official QR ticket flow, and the few accounts that get no credentials after scanning are prompted to fall back to Cookie login. The plugin pulls data through unofficial platform APIs, so platform changes may break login or track resolution — a known limitation to keep in mind.
