What Does It Do?

DSH Buddy Suite is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that combines WorkBuddy model access with daily check-in in a single plugin. It exposes the models inside the WorkBuddy desktop client to DSH through a local loopback OpenAI-compatible shim, and automatically completes daily check-in for every domestic WorkBuddy account on the machine. Model access covers both the domestic and international account variants, while check-in is domestic-only; the two halves share only a credential decryption module, so a failure in one never affects the other.

• Credit warnings and display toggles: credits are warned in 24-hour, 3-day and 7-day buckets, and the balance badge and reasoning-level entry next to the input box can each be turned off in the plugin card.
• Security boundaries: same-origin routes accept loopback requests only with Host and Origin checks, fields sent to the browser are token-filtered, and credentials are decrypted on-device only.

How to Use This Plugin?

After enabling it in DSH, the plugin injects into the profile via a cordis patch without changing the default model, and WorkBuddy models appear in the model selector ready to chat with. Check-in runs automatically when DSH starts or the session panel is used, and a toast reports the credits earned and the remaining balance. To adjust behavior, open Settings → Plugins → this plugin and use the Status page to turn off the balance badge or reasoning-level entry separately, re-detect a single model, batch-probe the remaining ones, or copy diagnostics for an agent. Note the runtime requires Node 22.19 or newer, or 24 and newer; Node 18 and 20 are unsupported.

How to Troubleshoot This Plugin?

When probing is incomplete, the card shows the concrete reason, such as which parameter was rejected and what the upstream returned, so you can tell an unsupported level from an account permission issue. Each model row has a re-detect button, and the bottom offers clearing probed results to start over or copying diagnostics to hand to an agent or an issue. If an engine version warning appears during setup, do not ignore it; upgrade to a supported Node version as described in the official instructions.
