What Does It Do?
dsh-soul is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that personalizes the Agent's nickname, response style, tone, and custom instructions. It solves the problem of manually tweaking the AI assistant's persona by letting you configure it directly through a settings page or slash commands. Core capabilities include persona presets, tool confirmation mode, and persistent configuration, making the Agent's replies more aligned with your background and preferences.
Core Features
- Personalized settings page: bilingual UI with dirty detection (disables save when no changes), save result notifications, and a read-only panel showing the current effective prompt.
- Style and tone selection: choose from professional, casual, humorous, roast, or efficient, with optional tweaks for headings/lists and emoji usage.
- Output language localization: select Chinese or English, and the system prompt localizes accordingly.
- Custom instructions: add extra directives to constrain the Agent's reply behavior.
- Persona presets: save, use, list, and delete named personas via both Web UI and commands.
- Configuration sync and validation: updates propagate to all active Agents, with field whitelist, type, length limits, and enum checks; invalid or over-limit fields are rejected as a whole.
How to Use This Plugin?
After enabling it in DSH, go to the 'Personalization Settings' section on the settings page, modify the configuration, and click 'Save Settings'. Alternatively, use slash commands like /soul set style=humorous language=en to change options, /soul show to view current settings, /soul save to store a persona preset, and /soul use to apply one. Saved configurations sync to all active Agents and take effect on the next request; saves without actual changes do not inject messages. The Agent can also adjust your persona directly via the set_persona tool during conversation; with confirmation mode enabled, changes require /soul confirm or /soul reject to take effect.
