A DSH plugin that collapses or expands the sidebar's tools area and workspace separately, remembers each state, and supports pinning projects with saved ordering.

dsh-folding-Windows is a DSH plugin for the DeepSeek Harness Web interface that divides the sidebar into a tools area and a workspace area, each with its own toggle and remembered state. It addresses sidebars crowded by growing plugin entries, letting you hide task boards, skill centers and similar items on demand while keeping the project list visible. Beyond collapsing, it pins projects in workspace views and preserves their order through DSH's native sorting, with keyboard support and light and dark themes.

What Does It Do?

Folding Windows is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that splits the Web sidebar into two independently collapsible areas, the tools area and the workspace area, and remembers each one's state. It solves the problem of a sidebar crowded with plugin entries, letting you hide tools, task boards, skill centers and similar entries on demand while keeping your project list visible. The plugin also supports pinning projects in workspace views and persists their order through DSH's native sorting capability.

Core Features

  • Independent dual-area collapse: separate toggle buttons for the tools area and the workspace area, each collapsing or expanding without affecting the other.
  • Persistent state: both collapse states are stored in browser local storage and survive page refreshes; the tools area starts collapsed and the workspace starts expanded on first use.
  • Project pinning and ordering: click the pin on a project row in the by-workspace or workspace-tree view to pin it, with multiple pins ordered most-recent-first and renames leaving pin records intact.
  • Accessibility and theme support: Tab focus plus Enter or space activation, collapsed entries removed from the Tab order, and support for Chinese, English and DSH light and dark themes.
  • Dynamic entry sync: the tools area updates its entry count automatically when other DSH plugins are added or removed.

How to Use This Plugin?

After enabling it in a DSH Web profile, two buttons appear in the sidebar; click them to collapse or expand the tools area and the workspace area. Collapsing the whole sidebar hides the tools toggle, and reopening the sidebar restores the previous state. To pin a project, hover a project row in the by-workspace or workspace-tree view and click the pin icon, then click again to unpin; the plain sessions view has no project rows, so switch back to a workspace view to use pins. Disabling or uninstalling the plugin and refreshing restores the original entries and workspace, while project order stays in DSH. Maintained by Alice-Marx under the MIT license, it targets the DSH Web interface and does not apply to headless or TUI profiles without a Web client.
