A DSH plugin secretary that triages GitHub notifications by real state, auto-closes resolved ones, and tracks dated reminders like bills and renewals, keeping secrets in the system keychain.

dsh-mishu is a notification and to-do secretary that runs inside DeepSeek Harness, bringing message watching and commitment tracking onto one board. Rather than trusting notification text, it re-checks the current state of pull requests, issues and workflows, closes what is already finished and leaves only what truly needs your action. Commitments you mention in passing, such as document expiries, bills, renewals and birthdays, become reminders with lead times, while passwords are handed only to the system keychain. A three-column board, read-only mail scanning and the /mishu commands keep daily handling in one place across macOS, Windows and Linux.

What Does It Do?

DSH Mishu is a DSH plugin for DeepSeek Harness that watches your GitHub notifications and remembers the dated commitments you hand it, such as bills, renewals, document expiries and birthdays. Instead of trusting notification text, it checks the real current state of each object, closes what is already finished, and leaves you only what genuinely needs action. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux with a bilingual interface, and secrets go only into the system keychain.

Core Features

  • GitHub notification triage: pulls all unread notifications every 15 minutes and judges each item by reason codes such as merged, closed, recovered, superseded and ref-gone, merging dozens of notifications into single matters.
  • Hand-off reminders: say something like "my passport expires on 10 March 2027" in any conversation; the model extracts the date, recurrence and lead time, and stores it only after you approve the card. Defaults are 90 days for documents, 3 for bills and 7 for birthdays.
  • Read-only mail scanning: supports QQ, 163, 126, Gmail, iCloud or a custom IMAP server, reading only sender, recipients and subject, never the body, and never marking mail as read; items are classified as mail-to-you, mail-invite, mail-bill and similar.
  • Three-column board: "needs you", "I remember" and "handled for you", where each card states what it is, where the problem lies and what to do, and cards can be dragged between columns or filtered by source.
  • Keychain-only secrets: macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager and Linux Secret Service; passwords are never written to files and never returned by the API.
  • Text commands and tools: /mishu for briefing, sync, done, closed, series and stop, plus agent tools such as mishu_add, mishu_list and mishu_detail.

How to Use This Plugin?

After enabling it in DSH, click "Mishu" in the left sidebar to open the full-page board, which starts with a one-line summary and four counters and lets you filter matters by source. If something is unclear, press the coloured "+AI" button on a card: it opens a new conversation with the explanation, links and related notifications placed in the input box, and you add your question before sending. The settings page controls language, per-category lead times, the GitHub switch and mail accounts; the GitHub token is taken from an environment variable, from the settings page (stored in the keychain), or from the GitHub CLI. Notifications are not marked read by default, so review the closed list before turning that on.

How to Troubleshoot This Plugin?

  • A notification was closed by mistake: open "what happened" on the handled card to see the reason and evidence link, then press restore; reopening a rule-closed matter counts as a correction, and a rule that closes 10 matters with over 20% corrections is downgraded to advisory only.
  • A machine without a keychain, such as a headless Linux server: the settings page explains why, the account can still be saved, and the password is supplied through an environment variable instead.
  • The GitHub CLI cannot be found when DSH starts from the Dock or Start menu: the inherited PATH is often short, so the plugin also searches common install locations such as Homebrew, ~/.local/bin, winget and Scoop.
  • A DSH started with the dsh command cannot be restarted from the page: the new login address is only printed in that terminal, and the button tells you to press Ctrl+C there and run it again.
